Forth of July and Roadside Attractions

Joe and I have spent some quality time in the car this summer. Attending a far away wedding (Wisconsin) meeting his dad for camping (Helena, Montana) listening to a fair share of talking books (we would highly recommend Kate DiCamillo's Tale of Despereaux). Though I logged a lot of miles on the interstate. Most summer days have been spent in good ol' Fargo, ND. I tolled away in the basement of the Moorhead Library. Joe made milkshakes, old fashioned soda and tended Dakota Soda with his 'jerkiest' skills. Much free time was spent at the FM Community Bike workshop, learning about truing wheels, fixing breaks, and growing accustom to the intense heat/humidity in the shop.
